What documents will I need if any?

My husband and I will be travelling to England in 2 weeks to visit his family. My husband is British and has only been out of England for 1 year. We have a son together, 3 months old, and I have a child from another relationship. The 4 of us will be going together. We are booking a one way ticket as we are not 100% sure when we’re coming back to Canada but we definately are coming back. I’m on maternity leave from my job and I’m receiving Employment Insurance right now. Does anyone know if we will have a hard time at customs in the UK once we arrive at the airport?

They will need to see a return ticket (you can get an Open return) and they will need to be satisfied that you will be able to support yourself during your stay without working so take your insurance documentation with you as well as a bank statement showing the payments going in
