These are the faces of school budget cuts
The RIF lists are out for Illinois schools. Standing for “reduction in force,” it’s a list school districts put out every year of the teachers and other educators who will be cut if they have to make cuts in the next school year. Districts have to guess in March what their budget and enrollment will be in August.
