Daycare in Orlando, FL?
I am a nurse in Orlando, FL and need a daycare that is open 7 days a week from 6am until at least 8pm and provides care for newborns. I have searched multiple sites and spent countless hours on the internet. Most places I have found are only open M-F 6a-6p. And to those who have the luxury, No, I can not stay at home to care for my newborn. Some of us have to work for a living, and Florida Hospital does not provide maternity leave.
Thank you.
I do not know of any day cares that go past 6pm in Central Florida. Have you looked into a neighbor looking after your baby while you are at work. I know this is not a great answer, but I work with a lot of women who have to work late and have children and they use neighbors, family and friends.
Look in the penny-saver for ads,the local laundry-mat sometimes has postings.
But be warned these women are not inspected or approved by the state. You will be taking a risk on using them .But sometimes there is no other choice.
