I’m not returning to work after maternity leave – what annual leave am I entitled to?

I plan to take maternity leave from April 2010 but I don’t know what the legal position is with regards to my annual leave entitlement. I am not going to return to work, so would my work have to work out my annual leave entitlement up to my last working day or up to my last day of Statutory Maternity Leave? What does the law say? Help, I can’t find it anywhere!
I live in England if that helps?
