Employment Law Retaliation

employment law retaliation
I need help w/ employment/employer laws in Oklahoma.?

I want to know if it is illegal to tell other employees that you are going to fire another employee before you actually fire them and if telling another employee what discipline actions you take on another employee? Keep in mind the supervisor would be telling an employee that was not on the same “level” as the supervisor.. they would tell a “lower level” employee that had no authority over the person being talked about. And who would you contact if what the supervisor did was illegal? We can not go to our supervisors supervisor due to fear of retaliation. Please help.

An employer or supervisor can say anything as long as it is true. There is no law that prohibits them from discussing the actual discipline given to another employee.

It is stupid because it allows employees to see if someone is being given unusually harsh or mild discipline and that could lead to a charge of discrimination.
